This N Street law firm, stationed in a townhouse on a quaint side street in downtown Washington DC, wanted to spiff up its lobby and knew upgrading their art would be the most effective means of doing so. A couple of the name partners, who had collected art for their homes, and had enjoyed working directly with artists, chose to commission artists Laura Newman and Joey Manlapaz for two of the primary locations in the entry area. Photographs by Jenny Okun and Tetsugo Hyakutake and a large print by Gene Davis round out the collection. Since installing the artwork, employees at the firm say the lobby “has never looked so good.”
