CNAA has worked with this Alexandria, VA-based couple for over 15 years. The husband, on the board of a major Washington, DC museum, and the wife, a former set designer, have developed into confident, experienced collectors who follow their instincts and are receptive to new, cutting edge artists.
Initially collecting mainly work on paper by established artists, they now primarily collect original work by emerging and mid-career artists, with a focus on LA artists of late. Their extensive collection features work by Roxy Paine, Pae White, Edward Burtynsky, Linda Besemer, Peter Halley, Sol LeWitt, Adam Ross, Kirsten Everberg, Allison Schulnik, Kim Dorland and others.
