Cheryl Numark approaches art collecting as an on-going investigation, seeking to continually educate herself by exploring new work and making new discoveries. Her philosophy is readily apparent on the walls of her Washington, DC home, which boasts an exciting array of contemporary art by both emerging talents and established, ‘blue-chip’ artists. Though it is always evolving, the collection remains very personal, and in part reflects the many exhibitions she has curated over the years, and the artists she  has come to know personally.  Relatively new additions to Cheryl’s collection include photographs by Vic Muniz, Edward Burtynsky and Alec Soth, and drawings by Bruce Conner, Sharon Louden and Danielle Tegeder.
